Monday: Students went through their Chapter 4 Vocabulary List, filling in the definitions and making flash cards. We then learned about purpose clauses from Chapter 3 and filled in our imperfect subjunctive forms of sum and possum.
Week of January 20, 2020
Monday: holiday.
Tuesday: We played Quizlet Live for a few minutes over the Chapter 3 words and the students then took their vocabulary test. We put our Chapter 2 Notes and our Prepositional Phrases Review in our interactive notebooks and then filled in most of our notes. We will finish them on Thursday.
Thursday: We finished our review over prepositional phrases and then read through the Chapter 2 Story about Charlemagne.
Week of January 13, 2020
Tuesday: We reviewed the demonstrative pronouns "hic" and "ille" and worked on a practice together for the period. The sentences from this assignment may appear on their quiz on Thursday.
Thursday: Students took their quiz over the forms and translations of "hic" and "ille". We then discussed the Chapter 3 List and students made their flashcards for Tuesday's vocabulary test.
Week of January 6, 2020
Monday-Tuesday: no school for students.
Thursday: We discussed our test and quiz schedule for the upcoming unit. Students put their "Hic" and "Ille" notes in their interactive notebooks; these are demonstrative pronouns where the forms of "hic" generally mean "this" or these" and forms of "ille" generally mean "that" or "those".
Friday: Today was a C Day and students worked on certain aspects of their Personalized Learning Plans.
