Supplies for Mrs. McConathy's US History PAP Class

These are the supplies that you will need for Mrs. McConathy's US History PAP Class for the 2019-2020 school year:
one college ruled composition notebook.
folder and loose leaf paper
pencils, pens (please do not write in red ink), one in a color you can use to correct things.
highlighter(s)
glue sticks--we will need lots for our interactive notebooks.
one box of Kleenex.

We may go through quite a few things this year.  If you are so inclined, I would love donations to the room of pencils, pens, highlighters, and glue sticks.

Below is a link to information regarding Zero Hour Latin for the upcoming school year.  If you have any additional information, please email me at:  julie.mcconathy@gcisd.net . I do not currently have a phone in my classroom due to construction.  Hopefully, that changes soon.

Latin Supplies

If you are taking Latin this school year, here is the list of supplies you will need:

Latin Supplies:

  • one college ruled composition notebook.
  • folder and loose leaf paper.
  • pencils, pens (please do not write in red ink), one in a color you can use to correct things.
  • highlighter(s).
  • glue sticks--we will need lots of our interactive notebooks.
  • Latin dictionary for home use.
  • six (6) packs of 100 3x5 note cards (used to make vocabulary flash cards for extra credit, "bell ringers", and "exit tickets").
  • one box of Kleenex.

Latin II PAP Students
We will be reading excerpts from Edith Hamilton's Mythology.  I have a class set, but they cannot be taken out of the classroom or written on.  If you like to highlight or write notes in your books, I recommend you get a personal copy.

Latin III PAP Students
We will be reading excerpts from Edith Hamilton's Mythology.  I have a class set, but they cannot be taken out of the classroom or written on.  If you like to highlight or write notes in your books, I recommend you get a personal copy.  Students may also want a personal copy of Vergil's "Aeneid" for the same reason; they will need the version published by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers.

We are always looking for donations:  notecards, glue sticks, pencils, pens, and highlighters will be very helpful this year as we create interactive notebooks for learning.
